Am I right in assuming there is no way we can pull the settings from %localappdata%\CCP\eve and have it imported in?
Edit - Just seen the note in the Dev blog. Any ETA on when that tool will be released for converting settings for the beta launcher?
Brilliant work on the launcher. Should of been what the splash launcher was in the first place. |

We are talking about the ones in %localappdata%\CCP\eve Where did you copy the folder too? Yes there was a new folder called c_evecache_tq_87.237.38.200 I just copyed my old settings folder in there.
Can confirm this works.
For anyone else looking to copy over window locations and settings for all accounts do the following
go to
%localappdata%\CCP\eve
Go into the Folder for me is called d_eve_tranquility (Check the folder called settings you will know if this is the correct one because it will contain core_char_xxxxxx
Copy the folders Cache & Settings folders into _eve_cache_TQ_87.237.38.200 (Removing the one currently stored in there

Snorlax. any chance you get get this added into the reserved post for copying settings across into the beta launcher?
For anyone else looking to copy over windows locations and settings for all accounts to work with the new launcher.
You will first need to load up the launcher and log in with one account so the folder listed below is created
Go to
%localappdata%\CCP\eve
X = Either a letter or number
Go into the Folder X_eve_tranquility (Check the folder called settings you will know if this is the correct one because the settings folder will contain core_char_XXXXXX
Copy the folders Cache & Settings folders into X_eve_cache_TQ_87.237.38.200 (Removing the folders currently stored in there) |

Well I suppose if you want to completely mimic settings you could copy take a copy of the core_char_XXXXX.dat file and re-name it to the ID of the character you want them settings on?
I have no clue is this would actually work. If you want to try it take a backup of the folder first :D |
